Moisturizers: A Problem? Or just for Mice?
According to Anna Boyd of eFlux Media, the recent scare about moisurizers may be a little exaggerated. You see, many people use moisturizers as if they were UV protection agents, or sunscreens.
They are not.
However, De. Allan Conney of Rutgers did find in his research that Dermabase, Dermavan, Eucerin and Vanicream – caused tumors to grow on the mice,according to Fox News. However, as other dermatologists noted, studies in mice don’t always produce valid results in humans.
